Partner Selection Policy

In selecting our partners, Toyota Systems makes decisions based on a comprehensive evaluation of capabilities regarding safety, legal compliance, quality, cost, delivery time, technology, stable supply, and other factors, as well as of efforts regarding social responsibility.

Request to Our Partners

In order to guarantee the performance, functions, and quality required of Toyota Systems’ business, and to ensure we receive appropriately priced products, we ask our partners to comply with the following matters.
At the start of any business transaction, we confirm that partners can comply with the “Request to Partners” described below, and verify the compliance status of major partners annually.

  1. Ensure the safety and health of workers, and create comfortable work environments
  2. Comply with laws, regulations, and social norms
  3. Provide products that consider the global environment
  4. Ensure the required performance, and respond appropriately when problems occur
  5. Offer products at a fair price
  6. Build stable supply systems to meet deadlines
  7. Develop technologies to improve medium- to long-term performance
