Multi-Stakeholder Policy

Toyota Systems is committed to appropriate multi-stakeholder collaboration, as we recognize that it is important in our business management to pursue value creation with a diverse range of stakeholders, which includes not only our shareholders, but also our employees, trading partners, customers, creditors, local communities and others. In addition, we take the perspective that if the profits and results produced out of that collaborative value creation and productivity improvement are properly distributed to the multi-stakeholders, then this will lead to continued wage growth momentum and sustainable economic growth. We will therefore promote the following measures based on the recognition that it is important to give back to our employees and to give consideration to our trading partners.

Giving back to employees

The greatest asset that our company has is our people. We aim to have each one of our employees utilize IT technology for work process reform (productivity improvement) and the maximization of added value, so that this leads to development and sustainable growth in Toyota and the Toyota Group, and in society as a whole.
In addition, we are actively investing in human resources to make it possible for a wide range of personnel to play an active role, including by building an environment that is easy to work in, improving worker treatment such as raising wages, and enhancing the various systems such as education and training.
(Individual items)
In specific terms, for the raising of wages, we are working to change to a wage system that will reward ability demonstration even more than before. For education and training, we are actively working to expand and improve our training systems to improve DX skills.
We will continue efforts to improve the competitive strength of individual companies and the industry, and will advance the sustainable return of profits to employees and active investment in human resources.

Consideration for trading partners

Toyota Systems remains committed to compliance with the contents of the Partnership Declaration.
If listing on the Partnership Declaration portal site is ended, the publication of the Multi-Stakeholder Policy will be voluntarily withdrawn.

With regards to trading relationships with companies which are exempt from consumption tax payment, we will refer to the thinking published by the government regarding action for the invoice system for tax-exempt businesses and their trading partners, and will strive to construct appropriate relationships.

Initiatives for other stakeholders

Toyota Systems will further advance the fusion of sustainability and business based on the spirit of “Challenge to More.”
We will use state-of-the-art IT technologies and overwhelming productivity to create a better future and deliver smiles and satisfaction to all our stakeholders, and we will also strive to maintain and develop healthy relationships with them.
